It all started when I moved into a new place and needed a couch—but like most people, I didn’t have a ton of cash to spend. I bought one online and had it delivered to my house. Simple enough… except my wife hated it. So I listed it online for $100 more than I paid, and it sold within an hour. That’s when the lightbulb went off.

I started watching a few YouTube videos, picked up another couch or two, and flipped them out of my garage. This was right when COVID hit, and like a lot of people, I was figuring out how to make things work. One or two couches a week turned into five, then ten—and eventually it became a full-time business.
